Director of Philanthropic Services

The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropic Services.

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is currently seeking a full time development professional to support grant making opportunities at The Associated with a primary focus on leading the Jewish Women’s Giving Foundation (JWGF). The mission of the foundation is to improve the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and around the world through a collaborative grant making process. The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the JWGF to include the management of the annual grants cycle; communications with grantees; responding to letters of inquiry; and site visits on behalf of the grantor.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the JWGF to include the management and administration of the annual grants cycle.
Create opportunities for donors to learn more about The Associated and its network of agencies.
Identify ways to engage donors in areas of philanthropic interest.
Develop marketing materials and communications for donors with donor advised funds and supporting foundations.

Skills and Requirements:

Three to five years non-profit work-related experience.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Knowledge of the Jewish community.
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Detailed oriented.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $78,500-$88,500; commensurate with experience.
